Designed for Segis by Bartoli Design in cooperation with Fauciglietti Engineering, the R606 UNO Chair has been awarded the XXI Compasso d'Oro ADI design award.
The Uno Chair represents the first application of the functional possibilities from using the patented R606 polymer in a chair.
Uno's inner frame in high grade steel and flexible technopolymer backrest insert, all burried in the special 'R606' double density twincompound results in an extremely supple and comfortable chair.
About Compasso d'Oro
Compasso d'Oro is the name of an Industrial Design award originated in Italy in 1954 by the La Rinascente company from an original idea of Gio Ponti and Alberto Rosselli. From 1964 it has been hosted exclusively by Associazione per il Disegno Industriale (ADI). It is the first and most recognized award in its field. The prize aims to acknowledge and promote quality in the field of industrial designs Made in Italy and is awarded by ADI.
