Obi

The name 'Obi' is Japanese and refers to the long sash that ties around and holds together the Japanese kimono. Obi's signature joint of die-cast aluminium is the pedestal's distinguishing design feature. It is the element that unites the table's pedestal and legs of different heights and sizes. The joint is available with white or black powder coating. The legs are of solid, chromium-plated aluminium. The tripod means that the table is always stable, even standing on uneven surfaces. The steep angle of the table's legs facilitate cleaning around and under the table. Obi is available with tabletops in birch or oak veneer, or alternatively high-pressure laminate with birch edge list. A low, round coffee table with a glass top highlights the elegance of Obi's signature joint.
