Edge Task Chair by Innerspace
Edge is a modern, cost effective task chair – upholding high design principles whilst remaining accessible to all.
Edge’s backrest provides a refined look with a stylish silver trim. An integrated, adjustable lumbar support provides healthy seating posture and spinal support.
Edge is standard with a single lock synchro tilt mechanism with tension control and height adjustable gas lift.
The synchro mechanism can also be upgraded to include a 5 point lock and seat slide depth adjustment.
Users may choose no armrests or Edge can be upgraded with either Polyproplene fixed height armrests or Polyurethene soft touch height adjustable armrests.
The standard Black Nylon 5 star base can also be upgraded to a 5 star polished aluminium base for Executive or Meeting room applications.
Edge’s frame, mesh, 5 star base and armrests come in Black as standard.
Other mesh colour options available upon request.
Edge’s seat cushion consists of high density, fire retardant foam. This provides ergonomic comfort for long sitting periods.
Seat upholstery comes as standard in House Black fabric and is also available in a range of fabrics or customers own material as an option.

Innerspace is one of the oldest and most trusted furniture brands in Australia.
Started in Western Australian in 1950 by brothers Bill and Bob Hawkins as W.H and R.J Hawkins Furniture Manufacturers, the Hawkins brothers specialised in antique reproduction furniture for homes and the business became well known for high quality and craftsmanship.
In 1966 they changed their name to Modern Furnishings to better reflect the new styles and furniture designs of the 1960’s.
Bob’s son Craig joined in the late 1970’s and was instrumental in changing the direction and the name of the business to Modern Office Interiors in 1980 to better support the growing market for specialised office furniture.
Fast forward to 1991 and the introduction of a new name ‘Innerspace’ was born.
More recently in 2015 saw the return to our original roots where Innerspace started to offer designer furniture and lighting for the residential market in addition to being a market leader in commercial furniture.
