Maki Outdoor Table by Kristalia

The long-standing partnership between Kristalia and Bartoli Design has resulted in real best sellers such as the Sushi and Nori tables.

Now it’s time for Maki: a table also inspired by an idea of sheer simplicity, with typically oriental appeal and leg profiles with pleasantly rounded, rather than sharp, corners.

Like the other table projects by Bartoli Design, Maki is also available in an extendable or fixed version, both suited to indoor or outdoor applications.

Available in a variety of sizes and colours, allowing a multitude of aesthetic and functional solutions.

Kristalia

Kristalia was established in 1994 by young entrepreneurs from Friuli who share two great passions: design and jazz.
From the outset, Kristalia has given special attention to innovative design projects through experimentation and searching for new technical solutions, using materials borrowed from the fields of fashion and sport.
In autumn 1995, Kristalia presented its first catalogue to the sales network. Production immediately met the needs of a public oriented towards contemporary furnishings while maintaining details and reassuring traditional styles.
From the end of the 1990s, with the creation of a definitive company organisation, Kristalia began to pursue a different path and attract consumers who were particularly attentive to the aesthetic and qualitative characteristics linked to innovation in Italian and international design.
The new millennium opened doors to an increasingly global and competitive market but Kristalia confirmed its leading position thanks to its inspiring principles that distinguish it today from other brands.
Currently, Kristalia Srl comprises a team led by motivated people who are fully involved in its development programmes: the strategies, analysed by the owners, are only applied after careful collaboration with the various players in the company.

This ongoing search for a team spirit makes Kristalia stand out from the crowd.

Bartoli Design

Bartoli Design, a team comprising Carlo, Paolo and Anna Bartoli, continues its experience in design and design culture begun by Carlo Bartoli in 1960, achieved through many partnerships with leading companies in the furniture sector.

The studio’s research focuses on poetic elegance based on simplicity and balance: from the initial concept of product and communication strategies to creative and product development, the studio’s activities embrace a complete spectrum of design services.

Bartoli Design also develops projects including architecture, settings, interior design and urban design.

In 2008, Bartoli Design received the XXI Compasso d’Oro ADI award for the R606Uno chair, the Tube sofa received the IF Award for Good Industrial Design and the studio was selected to appear on a set of Italian postage stamps entitled “Italian Design for a New Domestic Landscape”.

Carlo Bartoli has exhibited his work in Italy and abroad: at the Triennale Design Museum in Milan, the Victoria and Albert Museum in London, the Stadt Museum in Cologne, as well as in New York, Prague, Hong Kong, Athens and Buenos Aires.
The Gaia armchair is included in the permanent design collection at the MOMA in New York and the Triennale Design Museum in Milan.
The 4875 chair is on display in the design collection at the National Arts Museum of the Pompidou Centre in Paris.
The Breeze armchair, which received the I.D. Design Distinction Award, the Apex Product Design Award, the Red Dot and the IF Award for Good Industrial Design, is included in a set of Italian postage stamps entitled “Masters of Italian design”.
The Sol table received the “2010 GOOD DESIGN Award”. The panel of judges of the Young&Design competition awarded Carlo Bartoli the Apostolo del Design 2012 for his work as a designer inspired by an essential and honest design project.
The Still table by Bartoli Design received the Red Dot 2013 award.
