LÄUFER & KEICHEL is a creative partnership between Julia Läufer and Marcus Keichel. The pair have been working together since 2003.

Their studio is located in the heart of Berlin. Focusing on sustainable design solutions, their disciplines range from furniture design and industrial design, through exhibition to corporate and communication design for high end clients such as Kristalia and Thonet.

Their work has been internationally exhibited, published and awarded.

FLUIT / the iF Design Award winning chair by @actiu_com in collaboration with the Italian firm Archirivolto Design.

The iF DESIGN AWARD 2024 jury evaluated the entries according to five criteria - Idea, Form, Function, Differentiation, Impact - developed together with international design experts.

Based on these criteria, the jury awarded the chair made entirely from recycled materials. Actiu's commitment to sustainability and circular economy principles is reflected in Fluit's construction, which uses 100% recovered polypropylene and 30% fibreglass.
