Bosse

Founded by Günter Bosse in 1962 and based in Höxter-Stahle, Germany, Bosse has built its reputation on intelligent furnishing solutions defined by quality, flexibility and timeless design.

During the 1960s and 1970s, the company became known for its high-quality wall unit systems, many of which remain in use more than fifty years later – a testament to their durability and enduring value.

Bosse is defined by Modul Space – a modular tubular furniture system and design principle that transforms structural clarity into endless possibilities. Rooted in architectural logic and timeless design, it enables flexible, customisable solutions for a wide range of work and living environments.

Modul Space is also shaped by its collaboration with Les Couleurs® Le Corbusier, incorporating a carefully curated architectural colour system where tones derived from nature are designed to create distinct spatial and psychological effects. In 2026, Bosse marks 10 years of this partnership, reflecting a long-standing commitment to colour expertise, design quality and aesthetic consistency.

In the 1990s, Bosse became a pioneer of room-within-a-room solutions for open-plan offices. Today, its Human Space environments create flexible spaces for focused work, private communication and collaboration within modern workplaces.

As part of the Dauphin HumanDesign Group since 1992, Bosse continues to deliver German-engineered furnishing systems that combine adaptability, durability and lasting design value.
