In addition to the extra 47 bedrooms, the extension includes Group Therapy rooms, Administration facilities and more parking areas, ensuring the facility can now cater towards Adolescents too.
The provision for high quality treatment facilities for Mental Health patients has significantly increased as demand has reached an all time high. Working alongside Meyer Shircore, Abbotsford Private Hospital has been designed to provide an environment to deliver care in the least restrictive manner allowing patients to feel relaxed and comfortable in an environment that fosters recovery.
A combination of indoor and outdoor breakout spaces were designed on each floor to increase patient well being. The Kitsune Lounge by Tolv were paired alongside the Pendant Chair and Nera High Table by Innerspace, Parkway Tables by Norock and Retrofit Cobana Lounges by SACKit for the Indoor breakout areas.
For the outdoor breakout areas, Pedrali Remind Chairs and Armchairs in the Green and Terracotta colourways were paired together with Norock Parkway tables.
Patient Waiting Areas were fitted out with Fortona 4 Leg Armchairs on a timber frame, offering a sense of warmth to the space.
For the administration and office areas Able Task Chairs and Territory Sit to Stand Desks were selected due to their ergonomic offering. The Fortona 4 Leg Metal Chair by Innerspace was used for all visitor and meeting chairs.
