We want to increase peoples happiness and improve their health and wellbeing.
We also want to add value to businesses and organisations by removing the barriers to innovation, allowing people to collaborate, share ideas, feel good, be healthy, and focus on being productive.
Our Vision is to be the most valued provider of Creative Furniture.
“Creative Furniture” really means engaging with our customers, and clearly listening to their needs. From this we gain a clear understanding of a customer’s furniture requirements.
Our approach is to work one-on-one with our customers and partners to build long-term, productive business relationships.
There is a tailor-made nature to the recommendations we make to help create a successful workspace, specifically suited to meet each customer’s unique needs.
We explore options and offer advice on product suitability and wish to be seen as peers, not just suppliers.
We engage with our customers without encroaching on any other professional’s discipline and always try to go the extra step and provide the best quality service and products.
Service is what we focus on but it’s also about the end product - the most relevant, best-designed, world-class furniture products that we provide.
We source products from Australian and International designers and manufacturers.
This means that we can offer products with a perfect mix of creative and functional qualities. Not only do our products convey a unique design and sophistication but we also customise them to ensure they are entirely compatible with the environment they are delivered into.
We have a custom-built showroom facility right in the heart of the Perth CBD where our products can be viewed and our staff can help and present our unique solutions.
Innerspace Commercial Interiors started in Western Australian in 1950 by brothers Bill and Bob Hawkins as W,H and R Hawkins Furniture Manufacturers.
Specialising in antique reproduction furniture which was favoured at the time the two brothers built up a manufacturing business known for high quality and craftsmanship.
In 1966 they changed their name to Mordern Furnishings to better reflect the new styles and furniture designs of the time. It was around this time that Bob's son Russell joined and Bill retired due to ill health.
Russell's younger brother Craig joined in 1980 to take over the business with the retirement of the original founder, Bob.
Craig noted that the emerging office furniture market required specialised furniture and changed the direction and name of the business to Modern Office Interiors to better support this growing market.
Fast forward to 1991 and the introduction of a new name 'Innerspace' and also the opening of Innerspace in Singapore - at that time a very young market.
Today, Innerspace is still a family owned and run business by Russell's son-in-law Jonathan Miles.
We provide high quality, well designed furniture products suitable for Commercial, Residential, Educational, Hospitality, and Healthcare spaces.
We expect creative thinking and teamwork from everyone within our business, no matter what their responsibilities are.
Innovation takes many forms, and our team find new ones every day.
We have a dynamic and experienced team that provides flexible solutions for our customers. We are committed to adding value by combining customer service, product expertise, project management and quality control to achieve the best possible outcomes for our customers.
