The brief for the Shenton Park General Practice was consolidate three practices into one that exudes a warm, inviting atmosphere complemented by a sense of elegance and sophistication.

Designed by Perfect Practice, Shenton Park General Practice embarked on a transformative project to merge three separate practices into a single, cohesive space. The vision was clear: to create an environment that merges warmth and sophistication, making patients & staff feel welcomed and at ease.

In the waiting room, the Fortona 4 leg Timber Chair by Innerspace takes centre stage, offering both comfort and style using a combination of the armed and armless models. Complementing these are the Second Chance Ottoman by 31 Degrees , Linea Ottoman by Innerspace, and Kile Coffee Table by Tolv, creating a welcoming & calming environment where patients can relax.

In the Staff Breakout area, the Tami Chair by Sketch in Light Oak provides a sophisticated yet comfortable seating option, enhancing the space with its understated elegance and natural warmth. Complemented by the Nera Meeting Table  by Innerspace, known for its modern, streamlined design, the setup fosters a chic and inviting environment for relaxation and informal gatherings.

In the doctors’ offices, Innerspace prioritised functionality to ensure both patients and the medical professionals experience a conducive environment. The Nera Desk by Innerspace provides a practical yet elegant workspace, reflecting the practice’s commitment to functionality and sophistication.

Patients are provided with comfortable seating during consultations with the Fortona 4 leg Metal Chair by Innerspace that enhance the modern aesthetic of the office. These chairs are designed to complement the Neo Task Chair by Innerspace, known for its ergonomic design and supportive moulded foam seat cushion, ensuring optimal comfort during appointments for the medical professionals.

For the staff the Modul mobile pedestal was used offering multi-purpose storage in one sleek, mobile unit.

Throughout the space, the Mexica Chair by Innerspace adds a touch of modernity and comfort, while the Copal Sofa by Tolv contributes to the cohesive aesthetic of the waiting room.

This project showcases Innerspace’s dedication to creating environments that not only meet functional requirements but also elevate the overall well being through thoughtful design and curated furnishings.

The story behind a classic.

Timeless in design, the Portuguese Chair takes inspiration from the German Bauhaus school and the iconic tubular steel forms of pioneers like René Herbst, Marcel Breuer, and Mies van der Rohe.

Its elegance lies in two continuous steel tubes, one forming the back legs, arms and backrest; the other shaping the front legs and seat frame.
