The new MY LOUNGE for Virgin Australia at Brisbane Airport consisted of various zones for customers to relax in.

A mixture of different styles of loose furniture were carefully selected for the space to create a warm and calming atmosphere within a usually bustling environment.

For a classic look for the Reception area Innerspace selected Australian designed and manufactured Didier’s Tiller lounge chair for its timeless appeal and sculpted aesthetic.

Within the Bar area Didier’s Bennett chairs and Brydie Coffee Tables were used alongside the Nelly A Nysse armchairs by Sketch and Innerspace custom made low Modular Lounges. This design helped keep the sight lines open and bright around the entertaining areas. The mixture of seating was the perfect selection to cater to both those traveling solo or in small groups.

For the Bistro Dining areas yellow Navy Chairs provided a pop of colour while being paired gracefully alongside the Tami chairs, Mine stools and Trapezoid Cafe Tables for their warmth and hardy nature.

The Lounge Area showcases a mix of different lounge styles including the  Orphan Sofa in leather, Nelly 2 seater and the Morris Sofa with the Brydie coffee & cafe tables and Native coffee table. These all work harmoniously together even though they represent different styles.

A hidden little Den called for the Sackit, the perfect beanbag to lounge in a secluded corner of the Airport Lounge to gather your thoughts or play video games while in transit.

The story behind a classic.

Timeless in design, the Portuguese Chair takes inspiration from the German Bauhaus school and the iconic tubular steel forms of pioneers like René Herbst, Marcel Breuer, and Mies van der Rohe.

Its elegance lies in two continuous steel tubes, one forming the back legs, arms and backrest; the other shaping the front legs and seat frame.

Available exclusively through Innerspace in Australia.
