Passport, a modular bench system for airports and high traffic areas with a modern architecture. Ergonomic Design. Comfort. The shape of the seat surface and the backrest at Passport adapts to the shape of human body ensuring a comfortable and healthy position, with the possibility of special seats for disabled users.

The use of diverse materials such as perforated steel, intergrated polyurethane padding or laminated plywood allows for a wide selection of finishes, integrating every set with the design of the environment.

Passport is present in a some of the busiest international airports in the world, such as the recent project at terminals T4 and T4S in Adolfo Suárez Madrid Barajas airport.

Finishes: Metal in black, silver or red. PU in black, blue, or grey. Wood available in natural beech or light oak.

About the designer

ITEMdesignworks

ITEMdesignworks is a leading spanish design consultancy based in Bilbao.

They are designers as well as engineers trained in Spain and London, with more than 20 years of professional experience.
They have developed projects in very diverse fields such as: public transportation, automotive, household appliances, electronic devices, fitness and furniture for domestic, contract and office markets.

Javier Cuñado, ITEMdesignworks manager, studied Industrial Engineering in Bilbao and later graduated in Product Design at Ravensbourne College of Design in London.
In 1988 Cuñado founded Item Design in which developed after twenty years of activity, projects in virtually all fields of design.White domestic appliances, office furniture, electronic goods, fitness equipment and many consumer products.
