Embodying the spirit of the UNSW brand, this project brings to life an innovative and dynamic space where students, industry leaders, and faculty can connect, collaborate, and thrive together.

In today’s fast-paced world, business leaders need dynamic environments to further their education. A new purpose-built space in the CBD has been designed specifically for postgraduate students who balance professional responsibilities with study.

The UNSW CBD Campus fitout has been hailed as a game-changer, “a cut above what other institutions are doing at the moment,” according to Nathan Humphries.

Neo Task Chair by Innerspace pairs seamlessly with the Joggle workstation  creating an environment where people can collaborate and connect.
To support flexible and reconfigurable spaces the Fin Laptop Table by 31 degrees, Form Flip Training Table by Innerspace were used to align with UNSW’s design brief—creating an innovative, multi-functional space where students, industry professionals, and faculty can thrive.
The NR X TMH Base by Norock, in Jarrah Brown and Peppermint Green, was selected to add a modern, elevated feel, reflecting the sophisticated atmosphere expected by postgraduate students.
The Crevasse Table & Caldera Table both by Didier serve as ideal collaborative meeting points for students, while the Eden Coffee Table by Sketch perfectly complements the sophisticated interior with its focus on honest materials and a departure from rigid geometry.

This sophisticated environment combines function, elegance, and innovation, fostering a hub for learning, collaboration, and thought leadership. As a model for future learning environments, it exemplifies how thoughtful design and high-quality features can elevate the educational experience.

With its rippled, asymmetrical silhouette, inspired by the swirling motion of air through smoke or mist, its smoke-coloured, mouth-blown glass brings an ethereal touch to any setting. Whether cradling a bouquet or standing alone, its sculptural form adds quiet drama—and each unique piece tells its own story.
