Based in Bilbao, Spain, Muka Design Lab is the creative partnership of Laxmi Nazabal and Lucas Abajo. With backgrounds in fine art and engineering, they bring together two perspectives that balance beauty, function, and a touch of playfulness. Since founding their studio in 2011, they have embraced a slow design philosophy, working closely with local artisans, celebrating natural materials, and creating objects that feel timeless yet full of personality. For Ferroluce, Muka Design Lab captures their signature blend of heritage and innovation. Inspired by Bauhaus functionalism and enriched with the warmth of hand finished ceramic and blown glass.
