To increase real time visibility and production yields across their mine sites, BHP have opened Integrated Remote Operations Centres (IROC) in Brisbane and Perth.

A state-of-the-art facility delivering an advanced control room which operates continually, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Having opened the IROC Centre in Perth first for their iron ore production, BHP then implemented the same innovated technology for its coal business in Brisbane.

A milestone in technology and innovation, centralizing control of the mine’s fixed plant, train and port operations as well as CCTV and radio systems all from one location.

Innerspace worked alongside BHP, supplying the Iris Control Desks at both locations. A specialized control desking system built for ergonomic operation which uses anti-collision technology, is electronically height adjustable and supports up to 8 screens, providing the best possible way to monitor and control mission critical situations.

Product feature: AER short Vase by @audocph
With its rippled, asymmetrical silhouette, inspired by the swirling motion of air through smoke or mist, its smoke-coloured, mouth-blown glass brings an ethereal touch to any setting. Whether cradling a bouquet or standing alone, its sculptural form adds quiet drama—and each unique piece tells its own story.
