A character-filled 1920s renovation in Nedlands brought the client and Colourcube Interiors to Innerspace, seeking the perfect furniture to complement a newly built-in banquet dining area. With a tight pre-Christmas deadline, the brief called for pieces that were both in stock and in harmony with the home’s warm, modern palette.
The 811 Chair by Ton was selected to add organic texture and warmth, paired with the pill-shaped Burin table by Viccarbe. The rounded edges of the table offered easy access in and out of the booth-style seating, while the rattan finish softened the space, striking the right balance between modernity and homeliness.
In the kitchen the Last Minute Stool by Viccarbe was placed to align with the design brief design brief of mixing the traditional elements of the home with contemporary forms, its sleek silhouette and subtle detailing providing a refined contrast to the home’s original character features.
