Flat Club Armchair by Gandiablasco

Designed by Mario Ruiz

The design of the Flat club armchair combines the square and flat orthodoxy of contemporary spaces with the curves of the human body and the comfort of an indoor armchair.

The Flat club armchair is a designer armchair manufactured with welded powder-coated aluminium sections and fully recyclable polyethylene in blue grey, cement grey and agate grey.

Comfort is provided by the variety of mini mattresses and cushions that can be customised in different textures and colours, from the most sober to the most daring.

More than an outdoor club armchair, it can be combined with any of the Flat collection’s accessories.

Its simple design allows it to be combined with a wide variety of styles and settings, from outdoor living spaces to your own outdoor living room.

Passion for life outdoors, a dream come true on the edge of a cliff north of Ibiza. Our first outdoor furniture collection’s elemental and architectural geometry transcended borders thanks to its ability to respond to canons of timelessness and universality.

Its refined, purely architectural design, made of aluminium profiles combined with polyethylene, opened up market niches that didn’t exist until then, confirming the company’s expansion to every continent. The essential design of architectural lines defines the personality of GANDIABLASCO’s furniture and pergolas collections, together with the concept of extensive collections.

More than furniture, these are fresh and elegant products that complement each other to create environments where one can enjoy the outdoors, Mediterranean-style.

About the designer

Mario Ruiz

A graduate of Industrial Design from Barcelona’s Elisava University School of Design and Engineering, Mario Ruiz’s designs speak volumes in their simplicity; they live with their users without being conspicuous.

His work method “originates from the mission of being useful. That is always my point of departure, that the object works. Since there is no single solution for that to happen, figuring out the details is usually what leads to the emergence of a language.”

The designer started out in 1995 from his studio Mario Ruiz Design, focused on designing and developing industrial products and technology, as well as furniture, lighting and office projects.
