Griante 3799 Lounge chair by Pedrali
Designed by Mandelli Pagliarulo
Griante 3799 lounge chair by Pedrali reinterprets the concept of woven seating through a design that combines traditional craftsmanship and industrial production.
The cylindrical legs are turned, and the oval-shaped armrest is tapered where it joins the back leg. The aluminium frame provides support for the seat. The main feature of Griante is the handwoven seat and backrest made in Italy, with a fully recyclable polypropylene yarn belt with a three-dimensional texture, ensuring comfort. The woven pattern is characterised by the repeated use of geometries of squares, that highlights the generous proportions of the seat, creating a sophisticated and welcoming look.
Its refined upholstery and robust frame offer long-lasting quality, while its contemporary lines add a sophisticated touch to any setting. Perfect for stylish homes, hotel lounges, and commercial spaces, the Griante delivers an appealing blend of comfort, durability, and modern elegance.

About the designer
CMP Design
“CMP” is an acronym of Cazzaniga Mandelli Pagliarulo, the three founders and friends who gave birth to the studio in 2009. All three come from a university experience at the Milan Polytechnic extremely fertile in ideas, due to the happy circumstance of a human environment full of positive and creative relationships.
The distinctive feature of all CMP’s works could be identified in the materialisation of visual connections between objects of the past, objects of popular culture and natural elements. The latter are the basic ingredients of each project, which are then combined by intuition, and simplified through the three-way dialogue, to produce simple and timeless concepts.
