Pan Armchair by Frigerio
Designed by Gordon Guillaumier
The Pan Armchair by Frigerio is a contemporary celebration of timeless design, designed by Gordon Guillaumier as a tribute to the great Italian classics of the 1950s and 1960s.
With Pan, traditional reed craftsmanship is reinterpreted with a fresh, modern spirit—natural materials are carefully steam-bent into graceful curves, then dyed in deep, rich tones to complement today’s interiors.
Playful yet nostalgic, The Pan armchair brings together artistry and memory. Its sculptural U-shape and rhythmic arches each with its own unique curve reflect a level of precision and care that speaks to Frigerio’s dedication to craftsmanship. The bold, architectural frame contrasts beautifully with the inviting softness of the seat and back, turning the armchair into more than just a piece of furniture: it’s a statement, a cosy sculpture that adds character and charm to any living space.

Frigerio
Frigerio’s story is a true Italian journey, defined by passion, tenacity, and dedication to excellence.
Founded in 1938 by Federico Frigerio in Mariano Comense, Brianza, the brand has become synonymous with refined craftsmanship and elegant design for over 85 years. What began as a family-run artisan business, specialising in the fusion of modern and classic styles, evolved in the 1960s when Federico’s sons, Gianfranco and Angelo, expanded the brand into an industrial powerhouse.
Frigerio seamlessly blends exceptional craftsmanship with cutting-edge technology to create truly unique pieces. Whilst equipped with the latest machinery capable of cutting multiple fabric layers and automating leather cuts, Frigerio consciously opts for a manual approach, carefully cutting each layer one at a time to ensure perfect alignment of patterns and motifs. The brand’s skilled artisans, using only the finest raw materials—such as premium leathers, fabrics, wood, metal, and padding are able personalise each creation, embodying the dedication to quality and precision that defines the Frigerio collection.
Today, the Frigerio family’s passion for quality, alongside their deep-rooted connection to the region, continues to fuel the brand’s legacy of timeless elegance and innovative design.
