As the world’s leading gold company and producer of copper, silver, zinc and lead, Newmont Mining’s new workplace is reflective of their environmental, social and governance practices.

Covering 1,800 square metres in Subiaco WA, the Newmont Workplace by Rezen was designed to reflect the culture and goals of the business. Creating functional and flexible spaces within the tenancy that looks towards the future and supports Newmont’s business philosophy of ‘remote first’.

Innerspace worked to create these social spaces for informal interactions using furniture to reflect this intention. The Cantaloupe Chair by Sketch was used perfectly to create a relaxed, comfortable area in the Hybrid workzone.

Formal Meeting rooms were reserved for more formal interactions with the use of the Natadora Bureau Sofas, Fortona Chair on 4 Star Base alongside Rakumba’s Metropol Wall Lights and the Typography Cilon Layer Pendant.

Four-person Own Booths by 31 Degrees were used as focus destinations to provide staff with a private and quiet place to work away from the busier open workzone.

To help segment the open workzone, the Baker Modular Lounge was paired alongside the Miles Armchair, both by Natadora, in the breakout spaces to keep it casual and encourage communication and interaction.

Didier’s Fable Outdoor High Tables and the Pendant Stool by Innerspace were the perfect compliments for the Outdoor Terrace area.

Product feature: AER short Vase by @audocph
With its rippled, asymmetrical silhouette, inspired by the swirling motion of air through smoke or mist, its smoke-coloured, mouth-blown glass brings an ethereal touch to any setting. Whether cradling a bouquet or standing alone, its sculptural form adds quiet drama—and each unique piece tells its own story.
