Typography Cilon gantry pendant light by Rakumba displays a new language in decorative lighting.
A collection inspired by typographic characters, Typography Cilon harnesses the purity of cylindrical form and a unique modularity to establish a new lighting aesthetic. Typography Cilon’s seven lighting fixtures – or characters – can be cleverly arranged to create a compelling language of expression. Luminaries styles include spot, roll, staff, layer, mini, rib and disc.
Using Rakumba’s Gen 5 Typography rail system, each light can be positioned anywhere on and around the rail to create a unique sculpture. Lights can also be controlled independently of one another for a highly tailored lighting effect. Typography Cilon is the first stand-alone collection in the Typography Series by Studio Truly Truly and Rakumba. Through its design and composition, the collection consists of single and gantry pendants, floor lamps and wall sconces.

Studio Truly Truly
Studio Truly Truly is a Rotterdam (Netherlands) based design studio. Founded by Australian husband and wife design team Joel Booy & Kate Booy, and operates on the interface between industry and art. They run a versatile practice, creating textiles, lighting, furniture and spatial installations.
There is a focus on designing high quality products that combine technical ingenuity with new aesthetics. This results from an urge to dive deep into the production process, to push materials and techniques to their limits.
Industrial processes are frequently combined with abstract organic details or forces of nature. In their work, the natural and unnatural are blurred or contrasted in new ways, putting their qualities in the spotlight to be consciously considered and celebrated.
