About the designer
Marcello Ziliani
Marcello Ziliani, born in Brescia in 1963, is an architect and designer specialising in product design, with a focus on sustainability, human-centered design, and lean producibility.
After earning his degree from Politecnico di Milano in 1988, he has worked across diverse industries, from furniture and lighting to office and early childhood design. Ziliani has received numerous awards, including multiple Good Design Awards, Red Dot, and German Design Awards, and has taught design at the University of San Marino and the ITS Academy Machina Lonati. His extensive portfolio includes projects for renowned brands like Flos, Pedrali, Roche Bobois, and Magis.
