A high quality office building combined with a rooftop apartment, Rhodes House in West Perth draws its design cues from the client’s rich company history in mining contracting in the Pilbara region, reflective in the use of the distinctive Pilbara Red Marble.

This benchmark project has been designed to incorporate key sustainable principles to achieve a 5 Star Greenstar rating and the Property Council of Australia’s A Grade Office Building.

The predominance of Australian designed and made furniture was critical in the selection process. Didier’s Brydie Lounge  and Tiller Lounge Armchair ranges were the ideal selection for the Executive Offices.

Viccarbe Copa Cantilever Chairs were used as the visitor chairs for their elegant silhouette in these enclosed offices alongside the Lordo Flex Chair by Dauphin.

In the Boardroom the Gallery Executive Chairs by Innerspace in black leather was selected for its timeless and classic design.

For the Open plan office area Territory Fixed Height Workstation, Neo Task Chairs and Modul Mobile Pedestals all by Innerspace were paired together for a clean and crisp look.

From the Ground Floor Cafe area Sketch Puddle Chairs were paired alongside Viccarbe Burin Tables and Pedrali Circuit Coffee tables.

For each of the Open Terrace areas in the building Pedrali Remind Chairs were the perfect outdoor option introducing a neutral colourway against the Pilbara Red Marble.

The rooftop and BBQ areas were fitted with Pedrali Nolita Chairs, Nolita Stools, Nolita Tables, Tribeca Chairs and Tribeca Lounges, all selected for their historic design and modern reinterpretation of the classic patio chair.

With its rippled, asymmetrical silhouette, inspired by the swirling motion of air through smoke or mist, its smoke-coloured, mouth-blown glass brings an ethereal touch to any setting. Whether cradling a bouquet or standing alone, its sculptural form adds quiet drama—and each unique piece tells its own story.
